Blow OUT!
I am sure this has to happen to all moms out there but today it happened to me! Caddison had the biggest blow out ever. I had to take a picture to show Cody when he got home because I knew describing it would not do it justice. At least she did this while I was holding her so that it was not all over her bedding or swing. It only got on her blanket a little bit. Can you believe that she had it all up her back and in her diaper? I am just so lucky that this happened at home where I could give her a bath to clean her up.
Sunday Church
Ok, I have to admit that I am no pro yet at getting ready for church with our new addition. I am so glad that we have church at 11 because any earlier and I think I would be late each Sunday. First question is do I feed Caddison early before her 4 hrs so that she is full before we go or do you just nurse during church? Well it has been working out that she eat right at 9:30-10 which gives me till about 1:30 or 2 before she is hungry again which is right when we get out. So this Sunday keep in mind that this is only the 3rd time I had taken her to church she decided that she wanted to eat at 9:30 so that meant that at 1:30 right during Relief society she would be hungry.
Well she was hungry and messy during church this Sunday. Right at 1:00 I noticed that her diaper was full and that I better change her before the third hour started. She was wet and she was all happy that she was changed. Well 1:30 came around and sometimes I can have her take her binky for a while to hold her off so that I could nurse when I got home. I have not mastered the whole nursing in public thing yet. Miss Caddison was not going to wait and she let me know by having an explosion in her diaper and sucking her binky really loud. I got up in Relief society and went and changed her. Right after cleaning up her mess and getting her all dressed again she decided that she need to mess again in her diaper. She also decided that it was time to eat and would not stop crying which she hardly ever cries. I knew with those cues that she was hungry. So I change her yet again that was 3 diapers in half an hour and by that time there was only 15 mins left of church so I decided that I would just nurse one side to keep her happy before we had to go and find Cody to take us home. Needless to say I am so glad that I had packed a lot of diapers and I think that I am starting to get the hang of nursing out in public. Anyone else have any Church stories they have had to go through.
I do think that she had on a really cute dress!

Our fogotten Dog Lucky
Lucky feels as though her life is been turned upside down. She is no longer an only child and she has to share her time with Caddison. She has been acting pretty depressed since we got home from our trip. It was the first time that we had left Lucky behind when we went to Oregon and she really missed us. She would not eat her food for a couple of days, she was whinning at the doors waiting for us to come home. When we left we left her with someone who she loves to be with. I guess she still missed her parents. I have been trying to get a picture of her and Caddison together for a long time and finally I got one before Lucky jumped off the bed. As you can tell in the picture she is not happy with me putting Caddie on her but oh well I got my picture. I hope she will act like herself soon, she is always acting like she is unhappy that this baby is not going away.

Caddie's Frist Christmas
We just got back from our 11 day Christmas trip home to Portland. Caddison at 3 weeks had her first trip on an airplane and she did great. She didn't even care that she was on the plane and she didn't cry when we took off or landed. Here are her pictures from our trip. She is 5 weeks now and had a great time in Oregon meeting all her Aunts and Uncles and her Grandparents. She will be 6 weeks this Friday and she has been eating and growing so great.
The Luke Family joins the blog world
Cody and Aubree have started a Blog. I guess that now we have our new addition to our family Caddison it is time to join the Blog world. I am excited to post new pictures of her as she grows. It was an eventful year last year getting the little girl here, but this year is going to be fun watching her grow. She was born on November 23, 2007 at 10:00 pm. After going into the hospital at 7 am the day after Thanksgiving and being in 14 hrs of active labor little miss Caddison could not pass though my birth canal so we had to do an urgent C-section. So at 9:00 the doctor got me ready for the c-section and within moments little Caddison was born. She was 7 lbs 9 oz and 20.5 inches long. She has been the best baby I could ask for, she eats every 4hrs in the day and at night time she sleeps 5hrs or more between feedings. She does not cry at all she only coughs or grunts to tell us she wants something. We have already said that we don't want anymore kids because she has been so good ( I am sure she will have a sibling but not for awhile).
